Privacy: calculator, hosting and correspondence
Updated
You do not need an account to read articles or use the calculator. Calculations remain in your browser. This page explains technical visit data, correspondence and your rights.
Controller
The website is operated by Everything is Peachy s. r. o., company ID 56691491, registered at Horné Pršany 131, 974 05 Horné Pršany. Contact us about personal data by post or at info@solarnyporadca.sk.
Calculator, cookies and tracking
The reference calculator processes selected scenarios and numerical inputs in your browser. Its controls do not submit those inputs through a form to a server or installers and do not store them in cookies or local storage. It does not ask for your name, home address or email.
Visitor analytics and advertising tracking are not enabled. The site's own scripts do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts and images are loaded from the site's files; we do not embed third-party maps, videos or social widgets.
Hosting and technical processing
Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA provides hosting and content delivery. On a visit, it processes technical request data, such as IP address, requested URL, access time and browser information. These serve content delivery, attack protection and troubleshooting.
Our legal basis is the legitimate interest in safe and reliable website operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare acts as a processor for customer records; for data processed for its own purposes described in its policies, it may act as a separate controller.
Retention and international transfers
The application does not keep a separate visit database or export operational logs. Retention for data processed on our behalf follows the service purpose and Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum, Annex 1: until the relevant agreement ends or processing is no longer needed to perform its obligations, whichever is earlier. For its own processing, Cloudflare describes retention criteria in Section 11 of its privacy policy.
Cloudflare uses a global network, so processing may occur outside the European Economic Area. For applicable transfers, its processing terms provide EU standard contractual clauses and other safeguards. See Section 6 of Cloudflare's processing terms.
When you contact us
For email or postal correspondence, we process the information you send, such as name, return contact and message. We use it to address the enquiry or correction on the basis of legitimate interests in communication and content accuracy. For statutory data-protection requests, the basis is compliance with a legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
We retain correspondence as long as needed to deal with the matter. If required for a legal obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim, we retain it for the duration of that obligation or relevant period. Do not send information unnecessary for the enquiry.
The site does not yet include an installer-request form or newsletter. Any launch would require its own information about data and recipients. External websites follow their own operators' rules.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and legal basis, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have statutory conditions.
Providing data for an ordinary enquiry is voluntary, but without a return contact we may be unable to reply. Calculator inputs are not used for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and are not passed to installers.
Address a request to the publisher using the contacts above. You may also contact the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection. Its website provides an explanation of data-subject rights.
