Solar panel prices: modules, delivery and price per Wp

A panel costs much less than a complete PV installation. Three shop observations recorded on 21 October 2026 priced 400–600 Wp modules at €75.51–€108.16 including VAT as displayed by the sellers, without installation. This is a small set of examples, not the price range of the whole market.
Compare the same unit
Divide the panel price by its rated power in Wp. For example, an €83 panel rated at 400 Wp costs €0.2075 per Wp. Multiply by 1,000 to express the module-only cost per kWp. Do not compare a price per panel without checking panel power and dimensions.
The cheapest module per Wp may not produce the best complete roof design. Size, handling, mounting and inverter compatibility can outweigh a small module-price difference.
What the price leaves out
Confirm VAT, delivery to Slovakia, minimum order quantities and breakage arrangements. A module price normally does not establish the cost of mounting, inverter, protection, cabling, inspection, labour or distribution connection.
Request the exact model and revision, datasheet and applicable warranty documents. Check stock and delivery directly before ordering. The product and power warranties are different promises, and neither replaces the installer's responsibility for the installation.
