Microinverters: rooftop conversion and system limits
Sources checked
A microinverter converts a panel's direct current into alternating current close to the module. Compared with a common string inverter, it moves conversion equipment onto the roof. It may suit a complex layout, but electrical limits, communication and service access still need assessment.
Compare the exact regional system
Check permitted module current and voltage, AC output, the number of supported modules, branch design and communication equipment. An overseas model or price does not establish a supported Slovak installation.
The source does not confirm one universal Slovak price, approval or warranty term for this entire product category. Obtain the documents for the actual product supplied.
Storage and outages need their own design
Microinverters do not automatically provide power during a grid outage or support any chosen battery. Confirm the complete storage and backup architecture, distribution conditions and required switching.
Include roof access and replacement work in the service comparison. Module-level operation can be useful, but equipment count, monitoring dependence and the final installation scope also affect the decision.
